Join Shawn Jackinsky, Pratt Museum Head Gardener and Kenai Peninsula homesteader, to learn fun and creative ways to bring native plants into your garden. Explore soil types and settings for coastal, alpine, bog, and other biomes. Learn how to make cuttings and divisions so you can propagate plants in the field and share plants from your garden with your friends. You’ll take home a small potted plant from the museum’s garden at the end of the day!
This workshop is outdoors and all ages are welcome! Please meet in the museum’s rear parking lot.
Space is limited! Need-based scholarships are available for local community members. Email education@prattmuseum.org for more info.
