Gardening with Native Alaskan Orchids

Do you know that over 30 species of orchids are native to Alaska? This class will focus on propagation techniques and specific garden conditions that help orchids like Spotted Ladies Slipper, Bog Candle, Ladies Tresses, and Green Bog Orchid thrive in your garden.

Pratt Museum staff Yarrow Hinnant, Botanical Curator, and Shawn Jackinsky, Head Hardener, will guide this workshop.

This workshop is outdoors. All ages are welcome! Please meet in the museum’s rear parking lot.
