NATURE JOURNALING FOR KIDS, WITH KIM MCNETT
$15 per child/$10 per Pratt Museum member | two workshops available: Thursday, May 9 from 4-5:30pm OR Saturday, May 18 from 1:30-3pm
Award-winning naturalist, artist, teacher and wilderness guide, Kim McNett, teaches nature journaling and visual art to all ages. Nature journaling is a practice of creativity and curiosity that draws from our own experiences in the natural world. Learn beginner-friendly field sketching and recording techniques that will strengthen your observation and appreciation of the natural world. Workshop includes a blank journal and use of all needed supplies.
This workshop is outdoors and designed for independent learners ages 7-12. Please send your child with the proper gear to be prepared for any weather! Caregivers are not required to stay with children during workshop duration but may stay in a supervisory role if deemed necessary. Please remember to print the waiver/release form and bring a completed copy to the workshop (we will have additional copies available on the day of the event).
