The Nettle Dress Film Screening & Artist Talk

After the death of his beloved wife, textile artist Allan Brown begins a seven-year endeavor to weave a hand-spun dress from stinging nettles foraged in the woods surrounding his home. This gentle documentary quietly observes his journey. Learn more and watch a trailer by clicking HERE.
Homer artist Carla Klinker will open the evening by highlighting her experiences working with nettle as a fiber plant.
